Text animation in depth
I have done AE for many years and done lots of text animations but I will be honest and say I really don’t fully understand many parts of the interface. It seems that every tutorial does a light overview but never gets into an in-depth granular breakdown of the controls.
Does anyone have a recommendation of a tutorial or book that gives a complete explanation of text animation. Thanks in advance to all the great contributors on CC!Frank

When I was starting out, everyone recommended Chris and Trish Meyer’s book: Creating Motion Graphics: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creating-Motion-Graphics-After-Effects/dp/0240814150/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1463033376&sr=8-6&keywords=After+effects.

Neither deal exclusively with text effects, but give a good grounding in the concepts of animation, motion graphics, key framing and design.
