  Text animation goes pixelated when imported to PP2

  wondering if someone can help me.. im using the “rain in” and “rain out” preset text effects in AE. I export this as an AVI and it is viewed perfectly however when i import this into Premiere Pro 2 it goes all pixelated and loses quality, this is also the case when i render it out in PP.. could someone guide me in the right direction??
