  • Text animatinon expression for exchange characters positions

I was googling but didn’t find any clues…
How write text animation expression (or preset) that can “exchange” and animate positions of individual characters.

This characters’ animation should look like this:

REWOP (chars change its individual positions to ->) WROPE (again ->) OREWP (and finaly->) POWER

Of corse I want to animate much longer text than 5-characters, so I looking for some kind of automatization.
Order of animation of positions may be random – there is only 2 constrains: one character per position allowed and final transform should finish with readable text.

    Any clues?

I did an expression for that once…
If you search for “cliff richard” you’ll find the thread, but the links are dead…
I have to look in my archives.

If I remember correctly, it only really worked with monospaced fonts (e.g. courier, typewriter…)
and there was actually one layer per letter.

    thanks for your thoughts.
but this not help too much because anyway every letter would be in separate layer.

anyway finally I ended with animating all leters as layers manually. :/

    thanks and best regards
