Text Alignment/Formatting
Actually not sure what to call this but when I create a text box the first few characters fall outside the box but the rest works just fine.
I’m using AE 18.0.0 on an iMac with Big Sur OS V11.3.1

Oh no, CSS has invaded AE! ?
Are there any settings in the character and paragraph windows that could explain this? Maybe the line height or leading values are set to negative numbers?

Press reset in the character panel and that should fix it.
Also, consider updating! You’re missing some bug fixes.
