    Greets!

Thanks for looking and I appreciate your assistance in advance.

What I am looking for is a way to test my Premiere CS4 Videos on my computer as if it were playing on a 4:3 TV. I’ve been burning the video files and playing them in my DVD player as a test but I’m finding this to be rather wasteful. Anyone know how I can test this on my computer directly? I am aware that every TV is different and whatnot, but, even a ‘kinda close’ test would be fine….

    Thanks!

Have a look at Preview on a television monitor via camcorder or deck in the Premiere Pro Help.

If you have have a firewire port on your computer canopus makes a box that will convert the output from firewire to video. You then just plug in any TV with composite jacks.

    Its called the advc110.

Using a DV converter or looping through your camera will work OK but I like to use my grpahics card S-Video out. Your graphics card must be dual monitor capable. You then select it as the external device as your would a DV device.
