    I’m test driving Premier Pro CS 6 demo. It installed properly as far as I can tell, but each time I try to run it, it gets to the “Welcome to: screen and Windows announces it has stopped responding.

    Does it leave a log somewhere that might explain the situation?

    If not, can someone suggest a solution?

    The machine is not state-of-the art, but it runs Vegas Pro OK without GPU acceleration. (Win 7 64 bit, 8 Gig memory, Core 2 Q6600 CPU, NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT).

    I found the problem; a old post mentioned that CS4 was intolerant of Kontakt 3 and failed when it scanned it. Nothing has changed; CS6 fails when it touches Kontakt 5. Hiding the VSTplugin folder solved my problem.
