    Terminating PVW2800

    Hi guys, I read something in the tektronics site about terminating your equipment when testing. I’m no video engineer and just a plain editor. I’m wondering right now if I should place a 75ohm BNC termination on the component output of my deck(eg. PVW-4800) when my Decklink card is connected on the component input, making may connection properly terminated?????. should I do this or just leave it alone? anyways, Do you have any example situation where in we should terminate our equipment aside from testing it using waveform/vectorscope.

    The component inputs on a PVW2800 are self-terminating. I assume the inputs to your capture card are self-terminated as well.
