Teranex vs Alchemist
We are waiting on delivery of a new Teranex 2D but are getting questions from producers asking “is it as good as a Snell Alchemist?”
How do I answer that when the Teranex hasn’t even shipped yet?
You can’t base it on the price point anymore because that’s all changed now.Does anyone have any inside knowledge/data that can be used in a conversation over a few beers?

The teranex is nowhere near as good as the alchemist. It does not use motion compensation in its frame rate conversion. Different league of product.

So are you saying the word ‘leading’ has different meanings around the world?

If you want to take it that way. Yes.
The word leading in that context is clearly marketing speak. How is it leading? Highest selling (maybe)? First to market(possibly)? Best price point ( certainly)? Best feature set (arguably)? Best quality?
Quality was the original posters question.., and I’m afraid as amazing a value as the teranex represents, it isn’t leading in that particular metric.
