I’m just starting out with expressions in 6.5 and am linking a scale property to an audio keyframe. The expression works, but it starts out as “temp= “. I believe it should read something like “thisComp” instead. I’m not sure if it matters, but I’d like to know why it might be reading this way.

    any help is appreciated.

It doesn’t matter. “temp” is just – umm – a temporary variable. This is supposed to make things “cleaner” (from a programming standpoint). You may delete, rename it or whatever to your personal liking.
