    I think you could do that with

    -lots of time
    -great path and mask generation
    -AE’s awesome per-character text animation

    There are a million possibilities when you start to play around with all the options in AE’s text engine–esp. now with Per character 3d.

    Yes you will get lost with all the twirl downs.

    Don’t think you are going to find a single effect that will fill the contour of a body with text. I’m sure the creator built lots of interesting type paths to complete that commercial you reference.

    well i dont know of any easy way to do it in AE but, if you have a copy of maya you could do particles and send some wire frames as goal object. really complicated stuff but i have see it work and tested it myself with just simple shapes. good luck
