Team render in R18 problems
Hi, I can’t use port 5400, and if I use a different port, it can’t load the clients, did you guys had this problem?

I’m having the exact same problem. I just bought Cinema 4D Broadcast R19. When I go to the render preferences and try to enable Team Render, I get a message saying port 5400 is unavailable. And then when I try to change the port to another address I still get the message. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you for your help.

I talked with Maxon support today and they had me restart my Mac in safe mode. At that point I was able to enable Team Render on port 5400. I’ve restarted the Mac and booted in normal mode and the Team Render seems to still be enabled, so maybe I’m good to go now. It’s possible I may have to boot into safe mode to use Team Render – I’ll find out with experience.
