Team Doctors
Everett Bone & Joint contact me and expressed a desire to put together an ad to play during the Silvertips hockey games. The in-game spot needed to reflect the fact that they are the official Silvertips team doctors. I wrote the script, did all the shooting, compositing and editing. In-game playback happens on a Jumbo-Tron with built-in LED screens. While physically large, the screens are actually only 1/4 standard def resolution. All on-screen text had to be designed accordingly. The voice-over was done by the fantastic Bill Elder at BillElderVoiceovers.com!
I utilized a variety of GenArts Sapphire plug-ins in After Effects as well as inside of Final Cut Pro. They include: Sapphire_Glow (I love this plug-in!), Sapphire_EdgeFlash (For helping to blend the keyed-out doctors with their CG environment), Sapphire_Glint, Sapphire_Blur & Sapphire_DissolveGlow.
