Is there a way to get time code out of the Panasonic AG-HPX500P to an external monitor by way of the video out? We are trying to do this for a client so they can take notes from the big screen monitor.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

It’ll output the video with t/c and other info supered. You set it up in the Display menu (I think). It’s definitely in the menu structure. If you have a timecode reader you can feed it from the t/c out of the camera.

I thought it would be in the Display Menu too, which is partially true. You also have the have the Character Output button on the side set to on. Who knew, a real button…Thanks for your help.
