  • TC burn out of kona LHE – Kona 3 ?

I am working on a project that the producer has requested to have timecode displayed to a monitor while
editing in finalcut. I know that I can add a TC filter in FCP but i would like to avoid rendering.
I am hoping that it can be done by the Kona card in realtime.

    Thanks
    Sean

Nope, it can’t. But you can look at digital heaven’s bigtime plug in that will display the tc on your computer monitors as big as you want.

I second that. The thing is great and I’m going to install it in all three suites shortly.

My clients can sit on the sofa behind us and easily see the TC window on the screen.

The Kona 3 board supports this 🙂

This is one of the items we have built into RaveHD software to go along with our keyer product. I would think this an easy task for Apple to build into FCP with some nudging.

    Cheers,
    Ramona

Yeah, the Kona 2 board does as well, just not out of FCP.
