Tascam 1082 w/ Kona… anyone?
Anyone using a Tascam 1082 Control Surface in FCP, using a Kona?
We just got a 1082 in and it’s not working smoothly, nor are any of the transport buttons working other than Play. Since many FCP users are using the Tascam 1082 with FCP flawlessly, we were wondering whether the Kona LH is in any way affecting it. I’ve compared all our settings to someone who has one working perfectly in FCP. I can’t see how the Kona could have anything to do with it, since it doesn’t use FW at all. In addition, we have no other FW devices attached, other than the Tascam 1082.

I’m using mine with a Kona 2, and I haven’t had any problems yet. I haven’t delved into the guts of using the control surface yet, but so far all the shuttle/jog controls work fine, as well as the fader bars.
