    Hello,

when I use target camera, and animate its position, it also rotates the camera itself in the unlocked axis. This is especialy a problem when I move exactly over the target object (when looking from top view). I understand why this happens, but is there a way change this? So that the topside of my view is always facing North (the Z axis)? I hope you understand my question, if not I can post an example of one of my renders.

    Greetings

I know exactly what you are talking about, the camera spins as you move over the object.

Not sure how to fix the target camera…..but

One method, is just to use a reg. camera and as you animate it make sure it is pointed in the right direction. Obviously, this method would take more time to tweak.

    Just a thought…:)

If you look in the target tag’s properties you’ll see a spot for “up vector”. Place a null above your object in 3D space and assign it to the target tag as it’s up vector.
