    Hello all,

Have a sequence of 38,073 Targa files and when I try to bring them into AE 6.5 Pro as a sequence, it will only allow 32,766 to be imported.

I have a workaround for this, but was curious if there is a max allowed; have I missed a setting; etc.? Can’t find a mention of limits in the manual.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Best,
    Harley

    Holy targa files!!!!!
Is that a 20 min seq? What res and fps are the files at?
    can;t you break it up?
I work on trailers and habitually output 3-3.5K Targa files at film res but 38K files?
    do tell

by the way what machine are you using ram os etc

    Yes, just over 21 minutes… HD 1920 x 1080 at 29.97 fps.

I had already figured out a workaround but just wanted to know if there actually was a limit. No one seems to know or at least no one will own up to the limit.

See my profile for equipment etc.
