    Hi all
I edited a number of PSAs for a small public service station. They were sent to them in QT, DV and as DVCAM masters. They are asking for the clips as Targa files.
I have not encountered this before.
What would be the reason for this and what is the export procedure out of FCP?

    Cheers.

[Vladimir Lozinski] “What would be the reason for this”

Why not ask them? There may be any number of valid reasons.

[Vladimir Lozinski] “what is the export procedure out of FCP?”

File>Export>Export with Quicktime Conversion. A window will open. Toggle the “Format” pulldown to “Image Sequence”, click the “Options” button and choose TGA from the “Format” pulldown, and the appropriate working framerate from the framerate pulldown. Click the OK button, then specify where you want the image sequence to go to. It’s advisable to make a folder for them. Click OK, and FCP will export the image sequence.

For more information look up “Image Sequence” in your FCP manual.
