Tape logging software
Posted by Mike Jaymes on August 22, 2007 at 11:28 amAs I’m shooting more video now I’m in need of some software to keep track of what footage is on what tape.
Any recommendations?

Avid media log is cool cuz it creates actual bins you can batch from.

For a long time, I just used Microsoft Excel. The advantage was that I could convert to various formats to import and batch digitize (using things like Avid Log Exchange) without ever having to type clip names and timecodes in an NLE app.
