Tangent CP200
I have read that Resolve will work with the Tangent Wave but will it also work with the Tangent CP200 controllers?
I’m assuming yes cause they are both Tangent products but there has be no official word so its a guess at this stage.

Currently no due to the whole ethernet thing. The Wave is USB, as is the official DaVinci panel, so it’s a tad easier.
It’s on their ‘to-do list’ that includes other I/O cards.

Wrong on both accounts…
According to Peter Chamberlain from BM, both interfaces will be supported.
And according to Chris Rose from Tangent:
“The initial release of Resolve will only support Wave. Black Magic are still putting together the interface that will allow other external panels access. We will of course supply support for the CP200 panels as soon as this happens. We do not have any dates from Black Magic when this is likely to happen.”
