Tandberg LTO Firmware
I have a Tandberg LTO-5 drive. Been trying to update the firmware via the Tandberg TDtool, but with no success. I need to update the firmware to ebanle it to work with LTFS apps. I’m on OSX 10.8.5.
Need help from one of you genius’ out there. Not getting much help from Tandberg support!

I spoke with our engineer support person from Tandberg and they sent along the following info:For LTFS

– Download DMG
– Install OSXfuse
– Install ICU framework
– Install the HP GUI, StoreOpen Standalone.
– Boot
– Open StoreOpen Standalone
– Load a cartridge
– Format the cartridge
– Mount the cartridge
– Minimize StoreOpen Standalone
– Open Finder Set Finder preferences, general, all to show LTO Volume (tape icon)
– Use Finder to move a file to tape.
