Having been a happy user of DV Rack, now OnLocation for many years, does anyone else feel that in these days of location editing with laptops, a monitor similar to the one found in OnLocation would be a welcome addition to Premiere and After Effects ?

While I understand that there is no real replacement for a SD or HD broadcast monitor, the alternative is a laptop display which, in many cases, cannot be calibrated by any means. Anyone else ?

    Vincent,

I am confused. OnLocation is now part of the Premiere Pro package. You want them to integrate OnLocation into Premiere Pro like I do, or you want them to duplicate the feature?

Well, the integration would be nice , and I’m sure it will eventually happen, but the monitor calibration feature would be nice for the preview and source windows.
