Taking an Online Vid to FCP (yes again)
Hey guys
I have used Mpeg Streamclip in the past for youtube vids and what not to get them into mp4 file to drop them into FCP, but I am having some issues with this particular one. A lady’s daughter that I work for was on the news and so she asked if I could make a DVD of the news report for her to have when they take it off the site. I can’t get mpeg streamclip to recognize the url. I can’t get keepvid.com to recognize it either. Any suggestions? There is an embedded options, can I do something with that?

Unfortunately, you do not own the copyright for the video. Contact KTHV and purchase the video segment.

Yep you might not own the copyright, but just try to get a local TV station to give the ok to a Mom. Not gonna happen, at least not around here. They will point you to a TV recording service that sells you what they recorded over the air..
Forget the politics, just go download iShowU a great screen capture software.. And capture it in HD…
