Hi guys, I was wondering if you can help me… I have a quite heavy Library in my MacPro but I would like to take away the entire Library copying it on my Mac Book Pro and edit it away from office. Is there a workaround to copy the Library but only with proxy files in order to have a light project on Mac Book and move again the Projects on Mac Pro using the full resolution files when I come back? ? Thanks

The Proxies should be in the main Library and links to original should just be shortcuts.

Assuming you imported without copying to Library but instead used leave in place. If they are in the Library, copy first then remove the original media from the copy leaving only the proxies. When you go back to the originals Library it will reconnect. I’d suggest FCPXML export/import to go back and forth between the two Library instances.
