(T4i) How to “split” the audio channels when converting to ProRess
Hi.
I have a little issue with my way of converting T4i h264 rushes to ProRes.
The thing is, that audio is recorded from the camera mic and the audio input (which comes from a tascam recorder). When I convert the rushes to ProRes, both channels mixes into 1 stereo channel, where they are supposed to be one channel for the camera mic and the other for the audio input, IF i’m correct (since it works like it on a 60D).
For example, on a windy day, the audio from the camera mic is of course terrible. And the audio from my tascam recorder is good. But I lose a big amount of time re-syncing on ears, instead of having a perfectly synced file from the beggining.
How am I supposed to convert the files to get the audio “splitted” ? (with MPEG streamclip, OR with an other compression app).
Thank you for your time. Sorry for my imperfect English, i’m French !
