T2i vs HDV head to head comparison
I just purchased a T2i and wanted to know how it compares to my Sony HDV camcorder in a side by side comparison. You may find this interesting. My conclusions:
1) DSLR video is on par with HDV in terms of resolution and precision
2) color of T2i with auto settings is substantially richer, particularly outdoorsAnyone else see other top line conclusions?

I like to shoot flat when I shoot because Canons tend to saturate colors. For quick-release videos, it’s fine, but for my shorts and film work, I shoot flat.
