t2i vs 7d vs 5d
Hi all,
Been cruising the forums trying to figure out which dslr to buy and I’m having trouble discerning the video functionality of these three cameras. I recently sold the t1i because it only shoots 30p in 720 and has no on the fly exposure controls. I see that the 7d shoots 24p 25p and 30p at 1080 which is nice but does it have exposure control while shooting? Can you lock the exposure so you don’t get the “iris” roll when zooming out?
Does the t2i have any exposure control while shooting. It’s older brother the t1i does not. Also does the t2i shoot 24, 25, and 30 at 1080?
Sorry is these questions have been answered but I went all the way back to january on this post and could not find it.

i can speak for the 5D
it now support’s 24,25,30FPS on 1080locking exposure can be done with the “*” button.
changing exposure in record will not be good. and will never be good.
because a SLRlens adjust iris with step’s not smooth like a video lens.grt
