  T-Rex on Alexa

  I would like to know if anyone has experience using the P+S Technik T-Rex lens relay system on ALEXA. Or any other lens relay system – eg. the Excellence Optex.

  I am the DIT on a commercial next week where the DOP will be using a T-Rex borescope to shoot fish in a tank, through the glass, to create very imposing macro shots. Now I am wondering what effect all that glass will have on the Alexa’s sensor. Beside the loss of light, which will be quite a few stops, I am wondering if any ghosting may occur. I have heard that the Alexa sometimes creates a ghosting effect when many filters or very big zoom lenses are used.

  If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.
