  System super slow when QuickTime and Premiere open at the same time

  Anyone else experiencing this issue? Everything slows down including Finder to where I have to wait several seconds for any mouse click to respond. As soon as I quit QuickTime everything is normal.

  All my software is current, maxed out iMac on iOS 10.13.6 High Sierra.

  Any ideas? Thanks!
