system requirements questions
I’ve been using Avid Xpress Pro HD at work. I plan to go on disability soon and want to set up a home editing system. It seems Sony Vegas requires less horsepower in a computer than Avid, i.e., no $550 Quadro video card. Is that true? What would you guys recommend in a computer for Vegas and HD? Which processor and video card? Also, would I be better with an external TB hard drive or an internal array? Thanks.
