System help!!!!!
I have just installed avid express pro on my new computer. its an HP, and ever time I start up avid it comes up with this message Error: ADM_DSSOUND_MIXER_OPEN_ERROR. has anyone had this problem or do they know how to fix it. I appreciate it.

What are your system specs? (OS, CPU, video card…)
Do you have the audio muted at the keyboard?

It’s a CPU and Video memory Up to 256MB (shared)
Graphics type nVIDIA -
How much RAM do you have? What’s your OS? What model is your CPU?
These specific questions are very important. Avid is certified to run on very specific configurations. So far, it appears your card is not supported…
