    Hi,

    I think the time has come to get a larger Hard disk for my Mac Pro (8×2.8GHz 2008 model) as I want to put separate boot partitions on for FCP and AVID.

    I’d appreciate recommendations of make & model for a reliable system drive of 1-2 TB.

    Always have had good luck with the western digital caviar black drives.

    I have a system, it has stuff in it, and stuff hooked to it. I have a camera, it can record stuff. I read the manuals, and know how to use this stuff and lots of other stuff too.
    You should be suitably impressed…
