  • Sync’ing two objects animating on same spline

I’m trying to replicate the 3D animation you see at the end of the Fidelity “green line” commercial (If you haven’t seen it, go to Youtube and search for “fidelity green line” and its one of the top results).

For the moving green line I ended up using a sweep. I duplicated the spline I used in the green line sweep, and attached the disc to that spline so it will ‘travel’ with the green line. So now they both are travelling the same way, but….THE TIMING IS WAY OFF!!! When it starts the disc goes ahead of the line, then halfway thru, the green line takes over and goes way ahead…is there any way to sync up the two?
