February 26, 2016 at 10:48 pmI am syncing clips to separately recorded audio. I understand how to use Autosync with either TC or in points. My issue is that I have one long video clip, but for some reason I have multiple audio clips that need to be married to it. I don’t want to break the clip up; just have the external audio “laid in” where it should go. I can’t figure out how to do this. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

February 26, 2016 at 10:53 pmDoes it have common timecode? If so, try grouping the elements rather than syncing. You can use the group clip as source, or create a sequence from the now grouped clip, commit multicam, then AutoSync the sequence to make a new subclip. You may need to tweak the sequence a bit as mentioned in this blog:

Some of the steps described should get you on your way.

Thanks for the link! It works beautifully to a point. There is an edit point where the second bit of audio comes in. I can’t autosync the sequence if there is an edit point.
I’ll continue to play around with this to see if I can get it to work in this instance.
