  • Syncing Flex Files data with Already Captured Files

I am working on a short 16mm film that will be finished as a film print. The film went through telecine and was put on a drive as SD Uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 QuickTimes @ 29.97 with timecode and keycode burned in.

Each film roll is its own uncompressed file.

I am trying to sync up the FLEX file information to these uncompressed files.

I know and understand how to reverse telecine these files to 23.98, but I cant for the life of me figure out how to synce up the FLEX file information to these uncompressed files.

In the past I’ve just exported the FLEX file Cinema Tools List to FCP and batch captured the footage from tapes.

But since the footage is already captured as Uncompressed files, how do I go about syncing up the FLEX file information? Or is it unnecessary?

Also, the FLEX file info is broken down by slate, but the footage is all b-roll without slates. How do I connect clips in Cinema Tools if 1 roll of footage is as 1 Uncompressed file and not individual files?
