Syncing dailes
Never had to sync dailies before — so Q:
I managed to sync the picture and audio in the time line and linked the pic and sound [in modify]. How do I now get the synced image and sound back into my browser to start editing without having to make a new QT movie? Or have I gone about it in the wrong way?
Any help appreciated.

Adrian, like you i prefer working in the timeline.
after syncing and linking, i believe you can just COPY the synced clips and paste them in a new bin.
this becomes your source media.however, that’s not how i’ve approached this in the past.
what i do is to double click each clip into the viewer,
then make a subclip.this trims the audio so it doesn’t extend past the ends of the picture.
this is kind of essential if you are wanting to make multiclips

Thx Nick – I have resolved the issue by syncing the pic and sound linking them and simply dragging the clip into the bin and deleting the original with the scratch track on it.
