  Syncing audio in media pool without changing the audio clip names possible???

  Hi,

  I am editing a Film with over 29 shooting days. Auto sync with waveform doesn’t work well at all and the timecode option is not a choice as there is none.

  I was happy about manual syncing/link option in the media pool. But the audio guys will kill me as the audio clip names change to the footage name. So its a deadwood too.

  Is there a way to sync manually in the timeline and then have the audio synced in the viewer so that I can edit in a classical 3 Point edit way????
