I haven’t been able to do this in v9. It’s on page 272 in the manual. Looks like a simple procedure, but not happening for me. Worked like a charm in V8.

Anyone able to do this in v9?

    Thanks!

    Hi Omar,

Do you mean you aren’t able to pull up the on-disk audio window? I spent an embarrassing amount of time on that as well- in v8 you right click on the background of the conform timeline, in v9 you right click on the timeline name at the top right…

    Hi Kevin,

I was using the LTC tab in the dialogue box. Didn’t think about the On-Disk Audio until you mentioned it. I assumed that meant external device. Works great now.

    I hope this helps others.

    Thanks Kevin!

Yes, you’re right its a slightly different procedure, but once done, it looks familiar again.

You do need to pull the wav into the Media Pool, load it in the Viewer, choose a sync point (or not) then right click on the timeline you want to sync the track to (in Conform) and then there will be a menu asking what you want to do. (Page 272 in the new manual).
You do have to check the box linking to the file — the last time I did this it seemed like the procedure was in transition and I don’t know if this is exactly the way it is in the last beta.
