I recorded the video and sound with the camcorder, and the sound separately with a DAT recorder. I’m trying to synch up the DAT sound file with the camcorder’s sound file, so the DAT could match the video. I have a clapping sound so that it would be easy to synch up, but the closest I can get the DAT lined up is one frame before or after the camcorder sound file. Is there any way to get it more precise than one frame? If not, which would be the better to synch it up–DAT file one frame before or one frame after?

    Thank you.

Temporarily turn off Quantize to Frames (Alt/F8).
