Synched sound after log and capture
Can someone tell me other than adjusting the audio video settings why is footage is shot in 16 bit audio the audio would get unsyched when playing back in the viewer or when the footage is dropped in the sequence. I have had this happen whereas the students then have to manually move the audio and video around to match up.

Is this double system sound or audio that is on tape?

You might try trashing prefs.

What is the format/frame rate of what you shot/loaded, and what is the ‘easy setup’ format/frame rate of FCP when you open it up?
