Sync video clips to audio master track
Hi.
I am about to record a music video and need to know the best way to edit it in FCPX.This is what I want to do:
1. Record multiple takes with audio on set going into my 5dmk2 mic
2. Import all takes to FCPX and also a Audio master track
3. Sync all the clips to the master audio trackand the be able to pick the pieces I need in edit
Is this possible in fcpx?
If not, how would you have done it?Thankful for advice.

This should work just find with FCP X regular syncing. Just select all your clips and sync. If not PluralEyes (currently in beta) can pull it off.
However, shooting a music is a little tricky, and syncing is probably the least of your worries. I haven’t done it myself, but I would recommend you conduct many tests to ensure you workflow is solid before brining in the talent.
