  • Sync TC in video and audio (multiclip is not working)

I have a sequence with video clips in order and audio clips in order…with TC in each, but camera starts and stops independently of audio.

Pluraleyes isn’t an option since there is no on-board audio.

Multiclip isn’t working…is there another option?

Make a timeline and have the timeline timecode match that of the video and audio. Then drop the video and audio onto that timeline in the exact timecode spots on the timeline. Manually all the way.

I was racking my brain last night Shane, and was wondering if there a way to essentially do a multiclip sequence without using multiclips?

I’d like to do this because it’s working to create a multiclip sequence of video and of audio. I then want to fix the TC drift by simpy dragging, then create new merged clips.

Problem is that I can’t create merged clips from the timeline with multiclips.

If the audio is BWF, you could try my BWF_QT merge application.
This will marry the two (with an optional offset if you need it.)
