Sync problem with Decklink Extreme under Windows
Hi
I have the following problem and hopefully someone has a hint for me 🙂
A new machine mit Windows XP Pro SP2
Decklink Extreme
Grass Valley PAL component mixer
Blackburst Generator
DirectX 9.0c
newest Quicktime (I use the free version at this time for testing)I want to present a powerpoint-presentation to the component-mixer.
If i connect the decklink to a monitor (no sync needed) everything is fine but if I connect the Decklink to the videomixer the picture is not stable.
Normally if i connect the genlock the picture will be stable in a few seconds. But it seams that the card still doesn -

Andrew from BMD gave me the hint that fixed my problem.
First I found out, that the signal is NOT PAL – it was NTSC.
Andrew pointed me to the correct setting and know it works great ;-))
