sync loss when editing rendered clips

this could be a related issue; occaisionally I’ll find the ‘ghost’ of a render in my timeline.

In the middle of a clip, an effect rendered clip will appear that used to be at that place in the timeline and has since been moved.

I workaroud by re-editing the disrupted clip back in (on another level) but this should have some type of more painless resolution.

None of these symptoms should be happening at all. my files are on one of two FW400 drives…

But– this is a project I just upgraded from 5.01 to 5.1, so…

That might be a contributing factor…?
