  • Sync issues on Multi camera post edit

I have a project where I used 12 takes (music video)as a multi camera edit along with an external audio track. Everything worked perfectly.

Now I want to add a further camera angle.
It’s a guitar solo which is in perfect sync with the same audio track as the project which was used on the shoot for syncing purposes.

When I introduce it on the timeline it will just not sync up with the multi camera edit. Even if I move it around on the timeline it still seems to stay out of sync by the same amount.

I’ve tried rendering the multi camera edit and opening it as a solo track on the timeline and then adding the extra take in the usual way on a track above. I’ve checked all the video and audio properties and they are all the same. I’m out of ideas.
Does the Multi camera creation alter the ratios of the properties in anyway?

    Any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks for the suggestion. Auto ripple is off, so sadly not the cause.

Try turning off Quantize to Frames and move just the audio event. Then then Quantize back on.
