    Sync Issues

    I have a Sony DSR-1500 running SDI into my IO. When I digitize, most of the time, the footage is in sync. However, when I print to tape out of FCP, I sometimes get a lag. I’m wondering if these sync issues would be resolved if I had a Black Burst generator running to the deck and IO.

    What do you think?

    What do you mean by lag? Audio lagging behind video or vice-versa? Lag from canvas to monitor?
