Sync generator not working right?
I moved the studio about 3 months ago, and ever since then my 17″ studio monitor will not settle in place. The vertical hold is drifting all over the place. I have it hooked up to a Horita black burst generator, which seems to be working as it is sending sync to my Beta machine, the only way I can get the monitor to work right is by going back to that stupid loop through the ref terminal on the Beta deck.
BTW this is a G5 with a Kona LH.

Funny, writing the above post made me think this through, I checked and my ref to the Kona card was not hooked up, it works again now.

Kind of reminds me of a old Jack Nicklaus line. In the rare case when Jack would leave a putt short of the hole, he would say, “at least 90 percent of those never go in.”
In your case I’d say, at least 90 percent of disconnected equipment doesn’t work.
