sync cursor on text generator
I’m trying to add some keyframes to some text but it’s not working at all. In the Event FX window I’ve entered my text, moved the cursor 1 second, changed the text to a different word, moved the cursor another second and changed to a third word. Vegas automatically creates keyframes in the Event FX timeline and when I scroll that timeline the text changes accordingly. But in the main timeline nothing is happening, it stays on the first word even as it’s changing in the Event window. Also, the sync cursor is greyed out so it cannot be toggled either way. Probably missing something obvious but I can’t find it. Any ideas?

stevenps- I’ve tried other keyframe things like moving a text shadow opposite a lens flare but on the main timeline nothing is happening. In the Event FX timeline the shadow faders are moving so the keyframe is working, just not showing up in the main.

Sync Cursor is not available on generated media. When playing back the timeline, the preview should follow whatever keyframes you have in the generated media.
