This is probably a simple fix – just can’t find it. Is there a way to sync the cursor on generated media? This box is grayed out but I do have this option in the pan/crop & fx windows.

    Thanks,
    James

The sync cursor doesn’t work for Generated Media and we’ve asked Sony for this option many times. Please let your voice be heard and fill out the Sony Product Suggestion form for this feature. Not having this makes syncing with Generated Media nearly impossible.

But it still can be done you just can’t see the cursor position in the window so you have to add your keyframes and then just drag your timeline cursor to see the changes. You can also drag the cursor in the generated media timeline as well and you will see the changes in the window. Text does not have a sync cursor either but you can keyframe that as well. Not the best or the easiest way but you can do it you just have to spend a little more time getting the timing right.

There is a simple workaround to sync cursor of generated media:
-open the generated media in trimmer
-copy/paste timecode from trimmer to generated media timeline.

    Here, my French tutorial.
