Symptoms of a failing CRT
I have a 17″ JVC production monitor that is about 6 years old in constant use, lately I notice when calibrating it that the brightness seems to be fading. Turning it up all the way, I can barely see the grey bar on the lower right. I certainly can’t goose it up beyond normal like I used to.
Any hope for this, or am I about to have another boat anchor?
Any thoughts on a replacement? LCD? I am doing more HD stuff these days…
